The Federal Retirement Fairness Act (H.R. 5995, 118th Congress) sought to allow federal employees covered by FERS to make retirement contributions for certain temporary federal service performed before becoming career employees.

Thousands of postal employees began their careers as temporary or non-career employees, including Casuals, TEs, and PSEs. Those years of dedicated service deserve recognition!
